March 2004
No activity for another month.
Per DSO, FSO and SO are disconnected from AIM. This will be handled at the District level with possible optional candidate interviews at the Academy. Final selections will be then be made latter with DSO and ADSO's. As an ADSO, I'll still be active in AIM.
Civilian and Congressional college fairs as well as Academy appointment presentations will still be handled at the FSO level for now, although this could change too.

January 2004
Letters were sent to our 13 high schools informing them to have interested students for AIM
now apply on-line and send us hard copies with documentation. This replaces the old hard
copies of applications that have been used per request of DSO-CC. This enables the Academy
to track those applicants whom we do not select for AIM.
That's it for the end of a very productive year in helping to ensure the future of the
Coast Guard Officer Corp through admission applications and AIM.
November 2003
Attended 3 college fairs at Butler, High Point and Vernon high schools.
4 seniors have applied for admission at the Academy. Namely Keith Walton (our AIMster)
of High Point, Richard White of Butler, Robert Allesandro (in process) of Kinnelon AND
GARY SPONGE (did not make AIM Div Board) of West Milford.
