Flotilla Commander Ken Hoeg meets with the Aviation Explorers

Spreading the Word

Flotilla 10-20 Commander, Ken Hoeg, met recently with Aviation Explorer Post 107 at Somerset Airport to introduce members to the role of Auxiliary Aviation. In addition to a discussion of Air Station Caldwell's activities, Ken briefed the Explorers -- some of whom are private pilots -- on volunteer opportunities with the Auxiliary and careers with the “gold side”. Above, Ken reviews literature explaining entrance requirements for the Coast Guard Academy at New London, Connecticut.
